Megan Fox, the famous American actress and model is the youngest daughter of Darlene and Franklin Fox. She was born on May 16, 1986 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, U.S.A. Her parents got divorced when she was very young and her mother Darlene got remarried to Tony Tonachio. Megan Fox and her sister Kristie were raised by her mother and stepfather. Megan wanted to be an actress right from her childhood. Megan got inspiration to become an actress from Judy Garland’s role as Dorothy Gale in movie The Wizard of Oz when she was just five years. She joined a community centre in Kingston and began to take lessons of acting and dancing. Megan’s family moved to Port Lucie, Florida in 1996. She continued with her acting and dance training in Port Lucie and joined St. Lucie West Centennial High School of Port Lucie and completed her high school studies from there.

Megan began her career as a model in 1999 when she participated in the American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head Islands. Megan debut her career as an actress in 2001 by playing the role of Brianna Wallace in movie ‘Holiday in the Sun’. In the following year she debut on Television by appearing in the role of Ione Starr in Swedish-American soap opera ‘Ocean Ave’. In 2003 she appeared in movie Bad Boys II in minor role of Bikini Kid in Under Waterfall. In 2004 she appeared in the first major role of her acting career in comedy film ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’. She played the role of Carla Santini (the most popular girl in school) in movie Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.

Megan Fox caught the attention of Hollywood and become popular after playing the role of Mikaela Banes in action and science fiction movie ‘Transformers’ in 2007. She was nominated for different awards for her performance in movie. She was nominated for ‘MTV Movie Awards for Breakthrough Performance’; ‘National Movie Award for Best Performance by a Female’ and Teen Choice Awards. She appeared in comedy film ‘How to Lose Friends & Alienate People’ and drama film ‘Whore’ in 2008.

Megan Fox reappeared in the role of ‘Mikaela Banes’ in the sequel of Transformer, ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ in 2009. This time she bagged many awards for her performance. She was awarded with ‘Teen Choice Award for Choice Female Hottie’; ‘Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer Movie Star Female’; and ‘Scream Award for Best Sci-Fi Actress’.Her appearance in her only other movie in 2009 Jennifer’s Body also bagged her couple of awards for her performance. She won ‘Teen Choice Awards for Choice Female Hottie’ and ‘Teen Choice Awards for Choice Movie Actress: Horror/Thriller’.

After the performance in couple of award winning movies, Megan appeared in movies Jonah Hex and Passion Play in 2010. Although both the movies were not able to attract the viewers to box office but Megan performance gained the positive views of the movie experts.

Megan after her work in serial Ocean Ave in 2002 continuously appeared in other television serials too. She worked in serials What I Like About You, Two and a Half Men, The Help and Hope & Faith. Megan was nominated for ‘Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series’ and ‘Young Artist Award for Supporting Young Actress’ for her performance in serial Hope & Faith.

Megan Fox appears on the cover of many beauty and fashion magazine. For the first time she appeared on the cover of Maxim (July 2007) edition and a year later on the cover of Cosmo Girl (June / July 2008 edition). She also appeared on the covers of Elle, Entertainment Weekly, USA Weekend, Esquire, FHM etc. She also appeared on the cover of famous men magazine GQ (October 2008 edition).

In FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2011list Megan is paced on 4th Position. Megan was ranked 2nd in the Maxim’s list of Hot 100 of 2009. She was also in the Moviefone’s list of ‘The 25 Hottest Actors Under 25’ of year 2008. She was voted the ‘Sexiest Woman in the World’ by the readers of FHM magazine in 2008. In 2007 she was ranked 18th in Maxim’s Hot 100 list.

Megan Fox got married to her boyfriend Brian Austin Green on June 24, 2010 after a six year long relationship with him. They first met each other on the set of Television serial of Hope & Faith in 2004.
